SOUTH AFRICA MISSIONS TRIP

MAY 25 - JUNE 16, 2008

In the summer of 2007, we sent the first ever CSF Mission Team to South Africa. Our team of 7 women had an incredible experience serving in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal at an orphanage called God's Golden Acre. After a week at GGA, we also had the opportunity to partner with a church in Pietermaritzburg for a week helping with a variety of different community projects, such as building a school playground and helping out with a hospital feeding program.

Since this pilot trip was such a success, we have already put together another team who will be traveling to South Africa in May and June of 2008. This team of twelve will stay at God's Golden Acre orphanage and spend approximately 3 weeks building a house for a family that has lost their parents to the AIDS epidemic. They will also have the opportunity to interact with the children in the orphanage by helping them with homework and organizing a vacation Bible school program, as well as a sports day, for them.

The trip will cost about $3500 per person. For more info about the trip or to support us financially, check out www.csfinafrica.com or email Rebecca at heyrebecca@csf.net.
